Of course, we are truly excited and certainly looking forward to Angel Locsin and Richard Gutierrez--unarguably one of the biggest and most loved TV & movie tandems of the past decade--reuniting in this Star Cinema production. That it took a decade before this silverscreen return is reason enough for us to get so hyped! Their spark and magic are just simply undeniable--and age has not stopped any of it. Angel makes a memorable MMK comeback!

If you think you'd seen everything that Angel Locsin has to offer as an actress, you're terribly wrong. She delivered such a fine performance tonight in ABS CBN's legacy drama anthology program Maalala Mo Kaya. As Samina, A Muslim mother falsely accused of kidnapping, she showcased a range of emotions--from the subtlest of tones to the truly highly charged (without too overreaching, tbh), only a sensitive and versatile few can effortlessly accomplish. And Angel, obviously and expectedly, killed it! For me, it's in her quietest moments where she would shine in her scenes the most. Quite frankly, Queen Angel gifted us with a truthfully heart-throbbing performance. Thank you and congrats, Queen! Here's to hoping she gets to do more challenging roles like this more often than we get. Catch it on www.iwantv.com.ph , yes? ❤️
